We have limited Physical Education facilities, although our community partners are able to offer us a range of additional facilities. We have access to a small hard court area which we can use for football and other activities. We use the hall at Hambleton Forum (Community Centre) where we have lessons in the sports of Badminton, Boccia, Short Tennis and Table Tennis. Hambleton Sports Centre is just a short walk away and we use the 25 metre pool for our swimming lessons. Opportunities to take Life Saving Awards are available to all students. For Key Stage 4 students the gym is also available. We do have limited use of the Sports Hall where we play Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and take part in a Health & Fitness Programme. We are also made very welcome at Northallerton Cricket Club and Northallerton Tennis Club. Our PE staff are able to offer GCSE PE although the teaching of large team games can be difficult for us. At Key Stage 4, all students visit the gym regularly and participate in a structured Training Programme. In the summer we have the opportunity to use the extensive playing fields of two local comprehensive schools. Our PE staff are able to teach a range of activities including Athletics, Tennis, Golf, Rounders and Cricket. Romanby Golf Club is nearby and we use the driving range and "Academy Course". Many additional activities are offered through Outdoor Education.
