The Sunbeck Centre currently has a vacancy for a parent to join its Management Committee (MC). Our school operates in a unique context, aiming to provide an environment and education that supports mainstream education, while also enabling students to overcome barriers and challenges to learning. We have an extremely committed staff, and we are passionate about supporting them in their work with some of the most vulnerable young people in our community. A parent’s voice can be invaluable in this process – you offer a unique insight into the provision that the children receive, and this can help us in our ongoing work to secure the best provision for these young people. We know that some parents may worry that they do not have any experience of working in education, so we would like to reassure you that any necessary training will be provided. All we are looking for is a parent who feels as passionate as we do about supporting the students our staff are working with.
